Our crews are currently working in Georgetown on a significant underground water infrastructure improvement project for the City of Sanford.

This project involves the installation of a new, large-diameter water main beneath the existing roadway. Completing this type of work requires extensive excavation, trenching, pipe installation, connections to existing infrastructure, backfilling, compaction, and final roadway restoration.

Building Better Underground Infrastructure

Much of the work taking place on this project will eventually be hidden beneath the finished roadway, but it plays an important role in the community.

Our crews are excavating deep trenches and carefully preparing the alignment for the new water main. Large sections of blue water pipe are being positioned, aligned, and connected within the excavation before the system is integrated with the existing water infrastructure.

The project requires a combination of heavy equipment operations and skilled hands-on work. Excavators and skid steers are being used to remove and move material, while our field crews work inside the excavation to assemble pipe connections, fittings, and tie-ins.
